Computer Labs

Octagon Timing: 24 x 7, throughout the year.

IIIT Trichy has access to all the higly configured PCs in the Lab provided by Octagon, NIT Trichy.

The configuration of PCs at Octagon are very high, with 24 hour internet access. Octagon is kept open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout the year.

Library

IIIT Trichy provides a library with access to over a thousand books related to the academic and non academic fields. The count of number of good books at IIIT Trichy Library is increasing daily.

Hospitals

Hospital Timing: 24 x 7, throughout the year.

Medical facilities for the students of IIIT Trichy is being provided by the Hospital of NIT Trichy.

For specilised medical treatment students are referred to BHEL Hospital.

If found necessary, students can use the Ambulance by Apollo Hospital of NIT Trichy.

Shopping Center

To cater to the needs of the students, NIT Trichy has a shopping complex within its premises. The students can get almost everything they need under the sun here.

The shopping center has Sationary shops, Photocopy shops, Juice Bar, Food stalls, A Cycle Repair shop and even a Cobbler shop.

Food and Canteen

NIT Trichy campus has many food and beverage shops. These shops offer different cuisine food and some of them are open all night for the students.

Departmental Store

NIT Trichy campus has an excellent store housing all sorts of goods, be it stationeries or groceries.

Bank

State Bank Of India (NIT branch) is located inside the campus of NIT Trichy. It is fully computerized and is giving an exhaustive service to NIT Trichy and IIIT Trichy. Two ATMs has been installed in the campus one in the Shopping Complex and other one near Barn Hall.

Post Office

A fully functional Post Office is located in the Shopping Complex. It offers Speed Post facility also.

Restaurants

NIT Trichy Campus has many restaurants, which offers food from varying cusine from all over India.

Sports Center

The Sports Centre is a multi-facility, multi-disciplinary sports complex aimed at developing well-rounded personalities of students. The Building has an Indoor stadium with two shuttle courts and a fitness centre. IIIT Trichy students have access to all these facilities.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Centre which also has a wooden flooring houses many exercise machines such as multi-station gym, tread mill, stairs, air walker, rowing machine, exercycle and so on. These are used by the students, staff and other residents of the campus. IIIT Trichy students too have access to all these facilities.

Outdoor Stadium

The outdoor stadium has a 400M track. The cricket ground here hosts matches for the city league. The campus is dotted with two football grounds, one hockey field, two volleyball courts, two basketball courts, three tennis courts and two ball badminton courts. Besides each hostel has separate playgrounds and indoor games such as table tennis and carroms. IIIT Trichy students have access to all these facilities.

Swimming Pool

NIT Trichy is endowed with a beautiful swimming pool of 25 metre length. It caters to the students, faculty, and other residents of the campus. IIIT Trichy students have access to all these facilities by paying nominal fees.

Guest House

NIT Trichy provides special accomodation to their guests. IIIT Trichy guests also have access to this guest house. The guests can stay in the guest house by paying nominal tariff. The tariff for the stay is available at the guest house.
